About River City Televised

River City Televised is an independent online magazine for Richmond and Central Virginia, styled after the golden age of the television set. Every evening we put the River City on the big screen: the headliners everyone is talking about, the supper clubs and new tables, the shows on the marquee, life on the James and the businesses lighting up the city. We also keep a free guide to the local TV channels serving Richmond and a guide to the neighborhoods that make it shine.

River City Televised is a reading site, not a television station, network or channel, and nothing here is broadcast. We just adore vintage television glamour. The Channel Guide is our free reference to the local stations that are really on the air, and we have no connection to any of them.

Where our stories come from
